Tree of dreams

I pass this beautiful tree on the way to work.

I absolutely love it. It's such a vivid blue, I even love it's carpet of blue blossom that covers the street (and the surrounding cars).

It feels magical and surreal like something from a story or a dream. It's nice to see the remarkable in an ordinary setting.

Does anyone know what type of tree it is?? When Wes and I finally get a place with a garden, we're going to get one of these.
