Amarylis

My red amaryllis is blooming again - four strong blooms this year. I am still experimenting with the AV setting on my camera. In this one I deliberately allowed the background to bleach out as a contrast to the red of the flower, whilst retaining a little detail of the map behind it for textural interest. Not sure whether it really works as an image, but it is fun trying.
