Momentary Mountains*

Very slowly the weather has improved throughout today. I spent most of the day writing a procurement procedure and reviewing a complaints procedure (I know, I could barely stay awake myself) but with the added twist for a boy from Northern England that I got to sit on the balcony in the sun (well eventually I had to wind down the sunscreen as I might have combusted) - it felt very decadent.
By late afternoon I'd done as much as I could tolerate, and was very glad of a distraction in the form of a dinner invite from one of my employers - so a quick change and round to Les Houches - somewhere I've never had a good culinary experience - but Phil's lived there for seven years, so I was happy to be led by him. An amazing pizza made even better by eating alfresco - but truly topped off by this view on the walk over to the hotel where the clients will be based next week. I really hope its a week of views like this for them.
