Yellow Iris

Towards the end of Tuesday's Ramblers' walk around Chacefield Woods we came across several areas where Yellow Irises were growing. There were also quite a few Foxglove plants by the side of many of the paths. Didn't have time to stop and take photos at the time, so went back along on Wednesday evening just to see if I could grab some pictures of these beautiful plants.

It was a bit overcast at first but about half-an-hour later the evening sun came out and improved the lighting for the pictures considerably.
