Reed Bunting - Frampton Marshes

Time to go home!

For the first time in a while we decided to do our old traditional stop at Frampton Marshes on the way back. After our traditional big breakfast to get us through the journey back we packed up the car, and said our goodbyes.

It was fairly quiet at Frampton, but then we did visit at midday, which is never the best time to go birding to be honest. This rather obliging Reed Bunting did land rather photogenically next to the path we walking around. Other than that I didn't really get any other decent photos. You have days like that!

We called in my brothers on the way home to drop off a pork pie for him, and to cheer him up after his recent hernia op. He wasn't too bad.

A quick pit stop at my mum and dads and then it was back into our own bed.

It's only a fortnight until Dawn's parents are here for the Speedway in the Millennium Stadium. I'm looking forward to that!
