RRS Discovery

Royal Research Ship Discovery was built in Dundee for Antarctic expedition. It now lives on the Dundee Waterfront and is a great tourist attraction. The whole of the Dundee Waterfront is being redeveloped and will eventually be wonderful. Just now it's a work in progress (see cranes).

A morning working in Dundee which was very enjoyable and productive. Dundee is reputed, by Dundonians at any rate, to be the the sunniest city in Europe but today it was decidedly Antarctic itself. Could really do with summer putting in an appearance
