Restoring the Pond
The last and a different delivery driver, delivering our top soil, did not manage to place all of it where it should have been on the heap, but deposited one bucket load, probably about half a ton in our little pond (not the big one at the bottom of the garden, but a tiny one near the house). As the weather was good and I did not feel like doing some of the other jobs, I assisted Mrs GOG in digging the soil out of the pond, lifting and relaying the liner and then refilling the pond, hoping that the liner had not been penetrated low down. Today’s blip is of the early stages of this work, after Mrs GOG had dug out most of the soil from within the pond liner.
