Loch Callater

a damp, cool day but a good walk up to the Loch. There were Ring Ousel, and the one in extras seems to be ringed, Wheatears, Curlew and Sandpipers. The mallard on the loch had seven ducklings. The flora included  alpines, such as  Starry Saxifrage, Alpine Bistort and Mountain Everlasting.It was surprising to see so much in flower, even if it is stunted, with such indifferent weather.
Had coffee in the bothy.
When I got back the sun came out!
