Watching the rain..

..same old, same old..

Spent the day updating the Scourie web pages, and creating a list of 50 malt whiskys. The list of whiskys is for a "Guess the malt" draw for gala day. A pound a go, and the one that picks the name of the hidden bottle wins it.. Simple, and £50 if we sell them all!!


Gathered our ever increasing collection of glass bottles and took them to the recycling point in the old council yard. Then drove around the village taking pictures from unusual angles and croppings, for a competition for the Gala day. Just ideas of what could be done to show at Camera club tonight. We're having a competition at the Gala day on 1st August, and giving the old calendars as prizes..!!

Tanni came with me and had a few runs where it was safe for her..

As I said, camera club tonight. I feel we are fighting a losing battle with this, as we only get about half a dozen people along now, and it's not viable to run the club with so few..

Edit: Should have said, this is a sculpture by the wonderful Dorothy Dick. She doesn't do many of these anymore. They remind me of the Easter Island statues..
