The High Line

This disused railway line which transported goods between the factories and the docks, has been transformed into a wonderful green space snaking its way through Chelsea. A bit like a narrow park, with chairs and wonderful views. The planting was by Piet Oudolf and although we were a bit early for lots of colour, the swaying grasses and prairie flowers were quite reminiscent of what might naturally grow along a railway line. I loved it!
