The War of the Roses
The white rose of York and the red rose of Lancaster fight for supremacy on our fence. They were planted by previous owners and we just let them run wild over the open fence.
In the background you can see the crumbling old barn, neglected all the time we have been here (nearly 20 years). Not sure what the future of the field will be as it has the remains of the old kiln in it, but with no historic status. Houses, no doubt, at some time in the future.
Another full working day today! Getting to be a habit...
