The trip

Today was a great day. The kids would have hated it. I felt like I was on an episode of The Trip. Me driving around the Troodos mountains and Boo navigating. We stopped off in far flung villages for a romantic bottle of wine, then onto Omagos for a mooch around and some more village salad, but not before a stop off at an 11th century church and one of the many winery's we passed! We couldn't help but buy some tat and a bottle of wine, respectively... Then onto afradites rock. Swimming round it 3 times is meant to bring eternal beauty. We think we swam round the right one... Once. Then my feet hurt on the stone pebbled beach! Next point of call was the nearby 5 star hotel for strong cocktails, then finally home to chill.

It's been a great day travelling and squeezing lots of stuff in that we wouldn't normally have done without a hire car!
