Lucky Black Cat?

Sadly not.
A morning at the cat shelter today and most of the cats waiting for homes were black or black and white.
Cat shelters all over the country are full of black and black and white cats.
It seems they are not as popular as other colours and are much more difficult to rehome.
This handsome boy is called Sox and was absolutely terrified when I went into his pen.
After a few chin scritches and ear rubs he was soon giving me the wee head butts which means he wants to be friends...
PLEASE, if you take on a pet, remember you are responsible for it for the rest of its life. Pets are not disposable!
And if you are thinking about getting a pet, consider adopting a cat/dog/rabbit/guinea pig etc from a shelter.
