Mechanical dentistry...

Still too windy to spread lime on the barley,so started another favourite job that keeps getting put off. Will need the power harrow next month to work the ground ready for sowing the fodder rape. It was needing new tines at the end of last season,but as there are 20 tines,each held on with 2 bolts,nobody was keen to do the job. As usual ,if you want a job done,do it yourself ! Most of the bolts were a pig to get out as the heads were worn down,so started to fit new bolts. As usual ,ran out  with 5 more tines left to fit. So will need to get some more.
A busy place again. Drainers here,  tree boys here and the dykers re  building  another slap .
Another load of lambs to Stirling,but won't go far to paying everyone here today !
