Mimi in Baddeck or.....

Mimi on the Beach!
This is one of those crazy coincidences.....Mimi and i have known each other for over 30 years....gulp....great friends when we both lived in Toronto, and a friendship that held fast when i moved away over 25 years ago.   she still lives in Toronto and is here in her capacity as Stage Director for a Musical Drama about Alexander Graham Bell and his strong connection to Baddeck.  The Bells of Baddeck will be performed at the museum and Mimi will be here for the next 2 weeks pulling it all together!   i'm amazed at what must go into such a performance.....and even more amazed that she was invited to be on this team without them knowing that one of her oldest buddies lives here!   Cool eh!

So we had a lovely breakfast together this morning and we'll get to spend more time over the next 2 weeks.   i get to be her 'date' on opening night....apparently there will be the requirement of hand holding!!!!

This little village of Baddeck just seems to draw all sorts of folks here!

A very busy day here at Big Hill...well it is after all June!   our two lovely wwoofers, Val and Malissa (i'll blip them soon) are doing a great job in the garden - and right now dinner is being prepared!!!
