Emma was a "boom operator" in her Primary 3 show, Myro the Musical. She's holding the boom in this shot.

It was a busy show, full of songs, dances, actions and dialogue. Today's was the last performance, and there was a real vibe from the cast that they'd nailed it. A tremendous effort for them all.

The school has a great policy of "photocall after the performance". It leaves the parents able to enjoy the show without trying to shoot it, or being disturbed by others trying to shoot. A simple solution.

I blurred out the other kids' faces in this shot. It seems odd to have to do that, but I guess that's the world we live in, and I didn't want to crop my child any closer than this.
