Give peas a chance.

"English peas (Pisum sativum), also known as shell peas, green peas and garden peas are a legume and part of the Fabaceae family. Most commercially sold peas are of the English pea variety. Today, of all the green peas grown, only five per cent come to the market fresh, the bulk of them are canned, frozen or dried. English or Green Peas traditionally have been grown for the sweet little peas that reside inside the pod."

Not everyone likes peas. I know it's hard to believe. I've heard so many complaints about the squishy texture and the tough little skins.

But chicken pot pie would be just wrong without peas. :)

And yes I am now humming that tune.
