Guys and Dolls

It was the battle of the sexes today. We had our friend Elaine with her two children, Rudi and Erica over for a playdate. Miss A and Rudi hit it off immediately despite declaring to one another 'you're not my best friend'. That established, they made dens, played out in the rain, fought over plasticine and had tea parties. Little D followed them round like a lost puppy, wanting to get involved in everything, pushing and shoving where necessary to make his presence felt. Baby Erica sat looking beautiful, smiling and giggling at the older kids every time they passed by.

Miss A was doing her bit for girlpower and tormenting Rudi by taking everything he decided to play with. The tables were turned, however, when it was time for Rudi and Erica to go home. Miss A ran barefoot into the cold and rainy street with only her top and pants on, screaming that she wanted to go home with Rudi.
