2 hours and 10.5lbs of raspberries later, we decided we better call it quits and see if we had enough for one batch of jam.  We are horrible at judging quantity.  We had enough raspberries for two batches of jam as well as 4 bags to freeze for later.  Yikes.  The problem was, neither one of us wanted our time in the fields to end.  Picking berries with Alex is still one of my all time favorite things to do and I look forward to at least a few more of these adventures this Summer.  Here are more pictures of our trip to Biringer Farms today as well as our time in the kitchen making some pretty yummy freezer jam.
