Ascot!

The Tbays! Well Mr, Mrs and Miss plus Miss Tbays other half to be!!

Wow what weather we had this year at Ascot! It takes about 2.5 hrs to get there and it was a pretty frustrating trip with lots of roadworks. But the weather made up for it. Warm and sunny with no wind all day!

After a lovely picnic we headed for the Royal Enclosure. Once in we headed for the stands to watch the racing. I however had managed to loose my badge!! Grrrr! A quick detour to the main ticket office where they kindly issued a new one. Phew!!

A very good days racing. We came back 10 pounds down so that's not bad!

After Racing ended we headed back to the car to hoover up the remains of the luch time picnic, and then it was time to pack up and head for home. I was the designated driver yet again!!

Trip home took well over three hours due to roadworks. I was glad to get back !!
