Artistic Endeavour

Last Friday I attended my very first session of "Painting in Pastels" at our local Art Society. I went in there telling myself "I am artistic, very artistic and I'm a good photographer. This pastel painting will be a breeze." I slunk out at the end of that first session a much humbler person. Pastel Painting was not a breeze for me. Mind you, other attendees have been pastel painting for years. But my second session today was FUN. We were tasked with producing duo-tone pastel paintings of mountainous landscapes. Our tutor produced copies of two landscapes and set us to the task. For your information mine is the second one down on the right hand-side of our display at the session's end. I will return....
