5 heads are better than 1

A week ago I noticed 5 rose buds on one stem.
And I also noticed that the neighborhood mule deer had eaten two other blooming roses. They just bite them right off the stem!
So I did not hold out much hope for seeing these buds all blooming at once.
But I did!
