Flying the flag!

Last week, when we were in Northumberland, all the castles we visited were flying The English Heritage flag.

Cockermouth castle, privately owned, has a tree growing from it's battlements instead of a flag!

A week ago, my blip was of an Ice Wall Challenge in Keswick for the victims of the Nepal Earthquake. I am pleased to say that the height of Everest was more than climbed, and that £36000 was raised!
