Now, as I see it......

An afternoon at the cinema

Back in the 1980's, Milton Keynes was home to the UK's first 'multiplex' cinema, The Point, which had 10 screens. That original has since closed but MK now has the only '4DX' cinema in the UK and this afternoon we went there to see the new 'Jurassic World' film. The plot is pretty much the same as previous films in the series but what great fun seeing it in the 4DX cinema! Apart from the film being in 3D, the seats rock, roll, vibrate and bounce, airjets in front and behind you blow at you or create a cool breeze across the whole cinema for the outdoor or helicopter scenes, water jets mist you and there are smoke and smell effects. It really added to the fun and suspense of the film; if you were thinking of going to see the film and are in striking distance of Milton Keynes I really can't recommend it enough! Just don't have a large meal before you go.......
