zzzz...
My Rotary club's annual fundraising golf tournament today.
Kirkcaldy Golf Club. I was there from just before 10am until just after 7pm.
It was a cameo role for me. I was tasked to sell beer, chocolate and/or water to the golfers from a stall between the 9th and 10th holes. I took £86. Our new drink driving law has made people very conscious of risks, and a beer from me plus one in the clubhouse could take you over the limit. Most wanted the beer at the end.
We raised £1,700 for the charity (Chest Heart & Stroke Association) so that was rewarding.
The Blip is my friend Simon. He came over from Edinburgh to play at a week's notice to fill a slot after someone pulled out. Well done, and thanks.
After all that fresh air at the end of a busy week, my next challenge is to stay awake until bedtime.
