My Husband is a Genius

When we bought this house in 1986, the bathroom was papered in black with little flowers - presumably to cover the mould. We've tried various remedies over the years, but now M has totally transformed the space. Although smaller than it was (in order to turn the back bedroom into a double), it's now airy and flooded with light, even on days like today, when the sky was covered in cloud. He took out the ceiling and added a skylight, a new window that totally opens, and changed the position of all the fixtures, plus adding this walk-in shower.

I bought two different tiles hand painted in Serpa in the Alentejo, by Sr Dias - feel really pleased with the way we've incorporated them; the other one is in a vertical stripe over the bath - might try another day to blip another angle.
