Full panniers

Out for a cycle tonight trialling full panniers over 42 kms. Ok I cheated - I had a tailwind. But hey it's Friday so I'm allowed :)

I'm going to swap the umbrella for binoculars I think. I did use an umbrella once cycling the length of 90mile beach in the far north west of the north island in New Zealand, cycling on hard sand with much fuller panniers and it did add an extra 5kms per hour to my speed but in Scotland I'd feel silly with an umbrella wedged under my armpit. Probably.
