Just too hot, plain and simple

With a heat index of 110º  (43º) I only ventured outside for 5 minutes!  The squirrel was taking advantage of how quiet things were out back and eating spillage to his hearts content.

The cardinals & titmice were the only birds I saw at the feeder today but I didn't spend much time at the window either as we have the blinds closed trying to keep the house as cool as possible.

Once again we are having torrential rain with thunder & lightning.  It makes the roof rafters rattle it is so close and intense.
