A walk into the unknown, after driving to the south end of Thirlmere and walking up into the valley and following it up into a wet plateau of marshland and towering rocks, I'd love to see this place on a clear day. Feeling more alive and full of adrenaline after getting caught in a true downpour isn't usually the feeling I get. It's nice to be caught out sometimes, although I don't advice it if your camera isn't water proof.
