Demolished

Got an email from the Salt Spring Exchange this morning saying that the Fulford Inn was being demolished, so on the way to town to meet our friends, I stopped to take a couple of photos.  When we drove home tonight, it was completely down.  People have been speculating about what was going to happen to it for a long time - and now it's gone.  I wondered about that huge chimney and all those bricks - will they be recycled?    I'll go back tomorrow for more photos and will put some on flickr and maybe link to a previous blip I posted of the Inn too. 
Had a wonderful afternoon and dinner with two special friends.  We go back a long ways with them and it's always so good to get together.
