Just out of range, a yearling calf still stays close to his mother.


Notice that flap at her neck, called a bell. 
I wonder why the name bell?
It’s not like it rings or anything.
Of course, it moves back and forth.
Without sound.

Surprisingly no one’s discovered it’s purpose.
