most unusual light

600 miles in two days has wiped me out I was planning to lie in but a call at 8 am from one of my students to tell me my gas cabinet alarms were going off in my lab got me moving and into work pretty sharpish! I did some more marking and the external from UCL turned up for the PhD viva. It was great to meet him as I was able to put a face to a name

Viva started at 2 pm and completed at 5 pm she was pretty good and I enjoyed it - after the stresses of the last two days I decided I was definitely going to meditiation plus we had a new teacher.

The light in the sky was amazing when I left and Dave told me he even saw a rainbow which apparently is very auspicious to a Buddhist!
