The Mechanics Institute

Like many borough councils in the UK, Swindon just does not appreciate the beautiful buildings left in its care. The Mechanics Institute is part of the strong railway heritage that Swindon has. This is what the council has done to one of it's fine Victorian buildings..left it to rot. What a bunch of philistines!
