New Zealands best
Daniel Hoy 898 and Cornal Wilson 160 battle it out for the supreme title of New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country Champion at Dunedin today. Both boys lead the field from the start of their 6000m race soon breaking the 200 plus entrants into 3 main bunches and then shredding the field into single file and finally increasing the lead with every step they took, having close to 40m or more distance at this point. Ophelia finished 36th in her race Junior Girls 3000m and Thomas finishing well done in the field in his 4000m race; very pleased with both their efforts and this will be a great experience for both Ophelia and Thomas. It was a very cold day and a great cross country course.
