All the Fun of the Beach

It was officially summer gala day on Portobello beach today, although His Lordship and I were unaware of that and came on it by accident.
The sky did look this forbidding, but as we left it brightened up a little , and so hopefully all the various activities went ahead in sunshine.

This was the kayaking base organised by Port Edgar and seemed to be ahead of the others in setting up.

Otherwise it was scones at the crowded Beach House, a walk along the Prom and a bus home to chill before a social gathering of neighbours for a buffet supper.
Heady days indeed!
