The Grand Union Canal

A group of  cyclists passes along the Grand Union Canal just outside Brentford. It is surprisingly green and tranquil here, in spite of its very close proximity to the M4 and central London.
Just around the next bend from here is Hanwell flight of locks - see extra photo. You don't have to travel far from central London to find green spaces. Out to sample the nightlife of Brixton tonight with friends.
