A Room of One's Own

The house is peaceful and quiet. I’m walking around, looking for light. It landed here, in my bathroom sanctuary. These days, it serves double duty as a four-year old water park. 

Bath time is special. It's where I let the stress of the day wash away. It's also where my son loses himself in play.

I like to sit in the next room and listen to his brain in full stream-of-conscious mode. It's like listening to a dream as he works out his own trials and tribulations through epic battles and make-believe adventure.
