Another grey day..

..was meant to go to Handa today. I normally see Handa every day when I walk out over the hill with Tanni, but today it was missing, as were the hills, lost in low cloud..

And it hasn't really improved all day, until now. Still can't see the hills, but there is a glow of sunlight on the village..

Went down to A's croft and fixed a water pipe and tap for him in his small polytunnel. Connecting the 25mm pipe to a 22 mm copper pipe, and with a proper tap fitted. Much better job than the earlier bodge!

Did some spraying, I, next door but one needed a patch spraying off, so did that, and a few bits around the house..

Then a harvest for the hotel, and deliver. Called in at the fish farm on the way back to get this picture of Badcall bay. The bins are bright blue, there was an orange float at the end of the pier, and there was some luminous green seaweed. Thing it captures the atmosphere better in b&w though..

So I've still not been to Handa. One day..
