The garden furniture was left out last night in anticipation of further use today - weather forecast deemed otherwise.

Was able to get caught up on the garden wildlife - amazed to find that there is still one huge blackbird chick being fed on the nest - one of its siblings had fledged more than 10 days ago.

Was also able to get caught up on back blips - the latest trip involved camping in the Cairngorms, a little hotel on the Sutherland coast, and a big hospital in Inverness - all had many things to commend them, but none had very good internet access!  I think I'm back up to date now.
