Streets of Sirmione

After yesterday's fab but tiring day in Venice, we stayed local to our hotel today.

There was some heavy rain and thunder during the night, apparently, which resulted in a much fresher and clearer morning, so the views across the lake were stunning this morning.

We just sauntered around, found a few little nooks and crannies to,sit,and while away the time. Lunch back at what is becoming our favourite little cafe, platter of mixed hams and salami, with an Bianca pizza, plain to you and me, other than olive oil and oregano, just lovely! This blip is of the street where our littl cafe is and is typical of the little streets Sirmione.

Read for a couple of hours this afternoon, laid on th sun beds on the pontoon outside the hotel.......the sun was hot! Clouded over a little later and a welcome breeze blew up.

Shower, dinner, stroll, Proseco, blip and now bed.
