Rain

A bit of a grey day today.  This afternoon my daughter decided to walk up to the supermarket.  As she left it was beginning to rain.  Soon it was raining hard.  I reckon she had just about time to reach the shop before the heavens really opened.  Soon the street was running with water.

I decided to be kind and drive up to the supermarket to meet her and bring her home.  I think she appreciated it.

I guess all that rain indicates that it is a British midsummer:  shortest night tonight and longest day tomorrow.  It's downhill now to Christmas.
