Bring me sunshine!

The misery had to end eventually.

When we ate our evening meal today a strange light suddenly appeared and lit up the whole room. Yes it was sunshine.

We dashed up the road or was it down the road this time to see the hills and just stood admiring the view. People walking past were smiling and stopped for a chats about birds, hill walking, photography - all it takes is a little sunshine.

p.s. Today I found myself looking at a wonderful Male Ring Ouzel less than 20 yards away. of course i had no camera to record this and even if I had it was under grey skies and in partial cloud so would have looked nothing like as good as it does in my memory :-)
