A Favourite Place to Walk

A trail winds around behind the golf course towards the area known locally as the Kumeras. The tide was only half in here and because it is tidal, it is a wonderful place to find wading birds. 

With a long sand bar, it is also a popular place to walk and exercise dogs. I have included an extra of a walker and his dogs just because of the sheer joy and energy they demonstrate. They couldn't see me - they were just reveling in the beautiful morning and the fun of being out together.
