Unexpected

I did my shift at the annual NCWA Woodworking exhibit in the Burlington Cascade Mall this morning. While I was there, one of the members told me about a salvage place a few miles away called Skagit Building Salvage. He claimed it was better than my beloved ReStore in Bellingham.

Naturally, I headed over to the place as soon as my shift ended. It was a little different from the ReStore, but whether it's better or not depends on what you're looking for. They did have some large wood slabs -- something the ReStore doesn't have.

This mannequin made me feel uncomfortable. I wonder if you can guess why.
