Our Saviours Church

After another fine breakfast in a different Copenhagan cafe Mr R and I started our sightseeing today with a trip up the tower of Our Saviours Church. The ascent starts off inside then you move outside and work your way round the ever decreasing spiral staircase winding round the spire. I have to say I much preferred the outside staircase to the steep narrow wooden staircases in side. The views from the top were great:-)

Next on our list was a canal tour to get a view of the city from the waterways that criss cross it. It was a good way to get a seat for an hour from all our walking!

After the trip on the canal we walked along the front to The Danish Museum of Resistance...timed it perfectly to catch the free guided tour. An interesting and very comprehensive exhibition retelling Denmark's war years.

A spot of souvenir shopping and dinner then we jumped on a train to Malmo in Sweden over the Oresund Bridge....

Our last full day in Copenhagen...it was pretty full:-)
