Flight

A fantail visited the garden today, taking time to bathe, flit and chirp with excitement, a delight to watch and capture as he takes flight surrounded in tiny droplets. The extra shot is the same bird looking rather wet.

As I type its dark outside, bitterly cold with strong gusts of wind howling round the house. Snow flurries are forecasted down to sea level - that's me!! Wonder if they're right?!

It's been a great weekend, feeling ready to take on another busy week.
