The A Team

Well, despite the horrendous weather conditions, we managed to pull it off.
What a day!
I probably can't add much to what has already been said by D Meyesme and Ninja but I will just add that it is days like today that makes me very proud of our little village. The rain came down but the crowds stayed, the musicians played, the burgers and cakes were eaten and the beer was drunk.
Towards the end of the evening I looked around at the scene; Our amazing Accelerants entertaining the crowds and probably 50+ children racing around the field. Children of all ages playing together, running around doing what children should do. It really made all the stress and hard work worthwhile.
Thank God we don't have to do it again for another 2 years!!
