Seed wars

It was serious warfare at the feed tray this morning.  The Noisy Miners were lodging an all out attack on the lorikeets, however General Rainbow was very good at giving them the eye, arching his neck, standing tall and when all else failed, hurling abuse at them.  Mind you, the Noisy Miners are pretty good at giving their own back in abuse.  Particularly if Hamish got a bit close and wanted to get into the action.  Suffice it to say General Rainbow's side well and truly defended the seed tray and he and his missus probably ate enough for the rest of the week.

A bit of a shocking shot because of the light and slowish shutter for the action but it does give an indication of the high jinks.
