USS George Washington

This nuclear powered aircraft carrier arrived in Brisbane for a 4 day shore leave since Jun 19 and will joined the Biennial War Games, Exercise Talisman Sabre 2015 in Central Queensland and Darwin.
There were hundreds of curious onlookers about at Luggage Point, Pinkinba (opposite the Port of Brisbane) and the traffic queue leading in and out of the viewing area was rather congested. 
Surprisingly there were policemen on horseback patrolling the viewing area.
