Our Bananas Harvest

We decided today was the day to cut down our bananas from the tree on our patio before they over-ripen. Not a bad little harvest - this lot here, plus the ones we enjoyed this morning at breakfast with our friend Philippa, who also took 6 away with her! I do wonder how many bananas are grown in Barcelona city?! We all agreed these little ones are similar in taste (very sweet, almost caramely) and size to the ones grown in the Canary Islands.
